Model choice changes available stems

Different separation models target different source groups. Common outputs include vocals, drums, bass, guitar, piano, other, and instrumental, but no model guarantees every instrument as its own lane.

Separation estimates sources from a mix

A finished song does not contain its original studio tracks. Models estimate likely sources, so dense arrangements, reverb, and overlapping frequencies can leave bleed or artifacts.

  • What can I use as input?

    Upload an audio file (MP3, WAV, FLAC, M4A and other common formats) or paste a link to a public online video. We read the audio and prepare it for separation.

  • How long does it take?

    Processing time varies with track length, model choice, and available compute. The progress log shows each real processing stage while your job runs.

  • What do I get back?

    A set of isolated tracks (vocals, drums, bass and more) that you can preview in the in-browser mixer and download individually.

  • Why create an account?

    A free account takes about 30 seconds, no card, and unlocks more: 5 extra separations a month (10 total instead of 5), up to 5 saved mixes you can reopen anytime, stems that stay after guest files expire, and your own @handle shown on every mix you share. Plus raises monthly separations to 40 with up to 100 saved mixes (30-day trial on monthly). Pro raises separations to 100 with up to 300 saved mixes and has no trial.
